The Cleveland show being moved from the Masonic to The Agora is a total winner for me. I now have prepaid parking in a lot beside the venue plus a fast pass to the pit area. Woohoo! |

Sparks were supposed to headline tonight at the Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. Unfortunately, there was a major thunderstorm event that left a ton of water on the stage. Sparks were forced to cancel because it was too dangerous for them to go on. It was not their call. Arrived nice and early for the Greek Theatre. Heard them doing the sound checks, Suburban Homeboy was one. All chilled and at the bar prices , 18 dollars a can, likely to stay sober |

That makes $14 for 16oz in Cleveland seem like a bargain! I drank zero.
Worst I saw was for The Dead Milkmen at a club called The Queen in Wilmington, Delaware. $20 for plastic cups that appeared to hold 12oz. I figured it was proactive crowd control. _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |

I honestly don't know what the attraction is of drinking at a venue like that. I was in the balcony at Hammersmith in June and I was amazed at how many people were wandering out to the bar during the set. People actually getting up and walking out as they started This Town! I was aghast! |

The concert was superb as always, must admit to being baffled at the standing area right in front of the stage which completely blocked the view of anyone who had paid a fortune for seats in the front rows. To add insult to injury most didn’t even look like fans as they did very good imitations of crash test dummies for most of the show
Russel said they’re doing a date in Hong Kong in December
Did 5 shows and best crowd reactions were Manchester and Berlin |
