Sparks Convention 2004

Only a matter of days to go before the Sparks Convention It promises to be a fantastic day for all Sparks fans – keep an eye on the forum this week for any updates. In the meantime the programme of events 12pm: start meeting … 2pm: warm up! …music, in particular rare mixes, demos and out-takes, continuous DVDs showing concert footage, interviews and promos, and walls full of Sparks goodies and memorabilia for you to peruse until – 4pm: “So You Think You Know Your Sparks” Quiz – 5pm: Charity Auction of memorabilia and other goodies (Proceeds go to BABE, a charity raising money to build a children’s hospice near Bristol.) 6pm: Break 7pm: Tribute to Dinky Diamond followed by: A specially filmed video message from Ron and Russell. Big screen showing of the “My Baby’s Taking Me Home” video 7.30: Filmshow – fascinating rare interviews with the band. 8.30: Live music (not by Sparks!) 9.30: Sparks Karaoke challenge!!! – Followed by: Sparks Disco
