Sparks Sign With Chris Blackwell’s Palm Label!

Sparks, Lil’ Beethoven, Chris Blackwell’s Palm Label Unite !!!!

Extremely exciting news concerning Sparks and Lil’ Beethoven has just been confirmed after weeks of speculation. The band has reunited with former Island Records founder Chris Blackwell and have signed to his new label Palm!!! The deal will see the official release of Lil’ Beethoven around the world. With the exception of the UK, all current copies of the CD have been imported, non-domestic releases. The official release in America and Canada will be July 8!! We will update this news with the official release dates in the other territories once we have them. Ron and Russell are extremely excited to be working again with Blackwell who as you know released 4 early Sparks’ albums on Island, including “Kimono My House.” AND, the first official single from the album will be “The Rhythm Thief!!!” The band has just been in Paris filming the first video from the album with their regular collaborators Kuntzel and Deygas (they of Steven Spielberg “Catch Me If You Can” opening titles fame.) The video is now in the post-production stages and should be ready by the end of the month. We’ve been told it will be a dazzling visual tour-de-force!
