The Jean Genie. TOTP2 David & the late great Ronno. Beyond awesome. It will never get better than this!

That was particularly good. The BBC had wiped the tape, but the cameraman had kept his own copy and found it again recently. A live recording too. A full 4 minutes and 35 seconds. Brilliant! The show is repeated on BBC2 on Christmas Eve at 10.25pm but it's on the iPlayer already :

The Jean Genie - David Bowie 9/10

Now we just need a cameraman to find some lost Sparks recordings...

Off The Record...David Alston.
Not a commercial release per se..but there is another copy doing the rounds(the last but one Sparks Convention meant it was bought by an attendee)
This highlights Dal's attention to musical nuances....utterly brilliant!

Well said, Alex. I've got that CD copy, which is now a bit jumpy through overuse. Fortunately, I copied it onto the computer and am enjoying it as I type.

You're right deadcalm! All her music seems to be most impressive! Have ordered her three CD albums, plus the single in advance.
